What is a Pod Cast?
A podcast is a recording of audio discussion on a specific topic, like business or travel, that a user can download to a personal device to listen to. They’re often found on iTunes and Spotify but are sometimes hosted on websites.
How to download a Podcast app
While you can download a podcast from its website, there are several apps available for both iOS and Android that allow you to download episodes automatically and sort them much more easily. Sometimes dubbed “podcatchers,” these apps are available on various systems and are generally cheap (or even free).
Once you are subscribed to a podcast, the app will typically alert you when a new episode is available, and give you the ability to manually download episodes, in this case by tapping the Download or Play button next to an episode’s name.
Go to the app store on your device.
Tap “Search” and then type the name of a specific podcast.
Tap the podcast’s name to go to its episode listings.
Tap the arrow icon next to any episode to download it to your device/phone.
Enter the password for your App account and tap “Download.”
